The block is useless i used my old block from and older set

As i was opening them one fell out of the plastic and sliced my thumb open oops

Though the knives themselves are heavy the wood block they sit in is very cheap

Ever since having to put away our old knife set due to an elder family member that is suffering with the horrible disease of alzheimers more and and more have gone missing to the point where we are just unable to find them all to fill the whole block

Either they were tossed out mistakenly when hidden too well or have just broken apart and need replacing

Please be careful if you decide to place them in a drawer and you go in to reach for them because they can really cut you if not positioned downward
