Pros

The surviveware trauma shears are excellent. They are light weight, but don’t discourage you. This shear is the one you want to buy, definitely worth the money!

The coated stainless steel blades are exceptionally sharp. They maintain their sharpness after cutting through tough items. Easy cutting through many different types of tapes and/or gauze.

Great value for a superior product. Shipping and follow up by their company is very impressive.



Cons

It is not worth saving a couple of bucks if 'lives are on the line' they are very bulky and awkward to use. I’d send them back, but it’s not worth the shipping cost.

These shears are super light weight but don’t discourage you they are built very well with just the right amount of thickness


One of the tougher materials i tested on was the triggerfold seams on jeans which is thicker and a tougher material


As a firefighteremt i know that traditional shears only last 3 to 4 uses before they become dull and unusable
