Army veteran, shooter enthusiast. I plan on using these when i go pheasant hunting in the fall with the doors open. Shooting 22lr myself, the report is loud, but doesn't hurt. Buying a second pair for backup.

Only drawback is the stoppers. Wiggling them a bit fixes this though. I work in a brewery and what a difference it makes.

Item was advertised correctly. Timely shipment. As for cleaning they are a bit slick.

The surefire ep4 sonic defenders do a fantastic job in protecting your ears, and at a sound price. They work really well for noise cancellation.

Cons

These aren’t worth a darn for loud firearms. They are good at canceling out noise, however wearing them for over 5 hours or more is very uncomfortable. The cheap 99 cent foam earplugs do a better job.

With the filter caps out the filter cap itself will sometimes dig into my right ear due to the direction the cap opens

They dont muffle as much as the 3m plugs which are rated for 32db reduction but thats where you get more clarity
