Pros
It's safe to use, and kids can't figure it out (however, always use caution around children). Such a ease of use. Easy peasy. I can't believe i didn't know this existed.
My butane lighter broke and trying to find butane is so hard now a days. Love this lighter. The survival frog and gespert both have a simple led light with three modes (low, high, strobe).
I love that it's rechargable! Battery seems to last long between charges. It seems to be solidly buid and definatly worth the money.
Cons
It is not safe without the sliding cover as a child could easily light it. The narrow section is too short to be able to light a weber gas grill. It's not fatal (because of low current) but could be potentially dangerous.

Ive had it for almost 8 months using it at least once a week and i only charge it every couple of months or so
