This baker allows us to bake a slicing loaf with the qualities of a dutch oven loaf. Crust comes out crunchy and caramelized with wonderful taste. Makes very good crusty bread.

This is the best bread pan lid i have used so far shape crispy crust
I buttered inside of dish let dough rise in dish before baking and loaf did not stick
Removed the lid and baked an additional 30 minutes

Its less heavy than my cast iron dutch oven and the shape is the only other difference

For the final rise i shaped the dough into a log shorter than the baker put it on parchment paper sifted a little flour over it and placed between 2 rolled towels to risemaintain shape
