I tried hammering it into some 38 od flex copper pipe but it bent where it was clamped

I have it now in a pencil box upright where i can see it easily to find nice as i have a tendency to loose small items in the workbench area and garage both which are by most standards very messy and disorganized

For copper pipe under 34 it is close to fitting inside at the swag shoulder it is a little small and would go inside the pipe if tapped one too many times and would be hard to remove as the remaining swaging tool is only about 34 long past this last shoulder
