The pump had a 24 discharge hose hooked up asin b000ei5ib4 and i let the pump go to work

Again the pump went into service with the above mentioned discharge hose attached and we had the water out without issue

The float system can be bypassed by simply not plunging the float interruption plug in

Placed the pump in the empty pit swapped in the threaded pvc discharge pipe plugged it in and this pump went to work
