I have not had any turn into an actual sore since i have used this product!
Product as described and packaged just right!
However, the tube in not conducive to emitting only a little bit of the product at once.
My daughter woke up with the beginning of a cold sore - she used this and it never developed into blister or scabbed, just went away.

Great product to lessen the time to heal cold sores.
