Pros
Aquaclear boxes are very customizable and also bulletproof.
One for each if my 75 gallon tanks. Keeps the tank clean and feeders healthy. It keeps my tank cleaner as well.
Product is silent and easy to setup. Easy to assemble and to clean.
It has a built-in siphon pump to aid in the startup. Conections work really well when tubing is heated and then pushed over the flanges and the connectors are tighted securely. The flow out is ok.
Cons
The sunsun filters have nothing to force the water to circulate properly. Just 5 gallons of water. Started leaking all the time. I have absolutely no idea why it is leaking this bad, but i can't fix it.
The plastic on the inside that is the bulkhead, also has plastic protrusions acting as a surface the lever you swing down acts against. All it does is give waste a way to get past the mechanical filter media where it can settle in the bottom. They wer... Read More

Love the canister filters keeps 75 gal tank very clean without having to clean it every few days
This product is silent any initial noise is air and you just rock it easy to setup and clean
While servicing it last week i accidentally broke off the tabs that hold secure the hose assembly to the canister
Within the past few months it has started leaking through the clasps

This product is fabulous for price and ability
This is an amazing filter very please and for the price you cant beat it
I paid 41 and see theyre going for 60 or more now in some places
This is my 3rd sunsun filter and you cant buy a better filter at twice the price
Packaging/appearance
Pretty quiet only issue was the directions in the box were for another model and had a bit of trouble getting it set up

I believe it is likely a knock off of a betterknown lowtomid range brand and the same thing is sold under different names including sunsun
This is a generic filter and the same model is sold under different brand names
This filter has a higher flow rate at a much lower price than the other brand
