Waking up in the morning has been much more relaxing without a blaring alarm jolting me awake. I have been waking up usually about 5-10 minutes before my alarm in the morning only because of the light. I wasn't sure how well this would wake me up, so I usually set an alarm on my phone for a minute or two after this one but I have not needed it once. And it is nice having the room have some light in it when I get up and not completely dark- it makes it much easier to get out of bed. Will this make you feel more rested waking up? No, it's an alarm clock and not a magical rejuvinating ball of light. Will it make your mornings less traumatuic and heart stopping if you have the standard iPhone alarm piercing your soul? Absolutely.As for the nighttime sleep function, it's very soothing. I have a hard time falling alseep so this doesnt make me fall asleep, but the warm light and the sound of the fire along with the crickets is a really nice way to wind down and just have a few zen moments to myself to decompress. I was concerned that the clip would be obvious in the loop but its not at all, at least not to me.I read some comments about the flimsy stands to put in. Unless you're shoving them in like youre the Hulk and have something to prove, you should be fine. I wasn't overly cautious and I wasn't forceful and I had no problems. They also haven't failed me in holding the base up and I like the rubber tips at the end for friction.Pros: There are many and for $33 I am very pleased. I love how it makes my wake ups feel more natural and the light it provides in the morning. The nightlight function is also very useful and I've come to appreciate it. I love the nightime function as well. Setting it up wasn't overly difficult and the instructions were clear enough for me. I also like that you can turn the alarm completely off or leave it on. I have it on the auto setting and it automatically dims when I turn the light off in my room.Cons: I don't have many. The only thing as of right now that I can think of is the buttons on top because there are a lot of them. But, they are manageable. When turning off my alarm I know that the button is the 4th one in so I just feel up from the sides 4 and turn it off. I wouldn't let this deter you. Also, having been woken up from the light and not a loud alarm, I don't feel rushed to turn it off to make the noise stop so I can sit and peacefully look at it to turn it off. Or, more commonly, I will use the light it provides to walk and turn my room light on without tripping and then turn it off in the light. I was also concerned about the loop of the birds for my alarm- it's short and VERY obvious. However, since I have woken up from just the light before the birds are set to chrip, I can't complain because I don't hear them. However, for some, I could see how this would be annoying.  Read Less
