If you are a prepper - a hiker- or someone who lives in areas that are prone to blackouts this is a unit that is well worth the consideration. This 26w unit is a little heavier but packs a real nice punch because of the amount of cells.

Now this unit will not help you shave in the dark or make up for the fact that your alarm didnt go off during the week but it will help you generate power from the sun to power up your cell phone so you can keep in touch with others and possibly make a reservation at a hotel

I went thru super storm sandy and there were a few issues that you get to notice after the third or fourth day without power

I had a generator and solar panels kept the i pads and phones on the panels and 12 the house on the generator which was only run for 3 hrs at a clip

The point here is dont wear down your main power source because you want juice for your ipad
