Bought this for hurricane season as we were out of power for 6 days for irma and this charger would have been great to have will try to update after this hurricane season have to test more to see if will charge the bigger brick batteries didnt work on the first test so four stars for now

It was not aimed directly at the sun but was probably within 15 degrees of perpendicular

The current is limited by the device being charged so the current was not limited by the panel in this case see next test

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Again since the phone was mostly charged already the charge current is limited by the phone charging circuit not the panel

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

As a general rule if clouds interfere with the sun and the voltage drops some devices will not resume charging once the clouds pass even though the panel is putting out plenty of wattage

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Only after i folded up the panel took it to the shade and later took it back out to the sun for more tests did the blue light come back on like normal

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Im not sure why it went out or what made it come back on

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

As soon as i drain the batteries it will be out there at work and ill update if i think it is anything less than 5 stars
