Pros

The only minus is, they could have thought of a way to avoid slamming it. The quality of the gates are also top notch. I'm on my second gate because one of the older kids over 70 lbs. Sometimes loves to tests us and check what happens slamming the gat...  Read More

The extensions allow it to fit across a 4' wide hallway - and it still works. Keeps my babies and bullies where they need to be. Can also be used for top of stairs with using screws.

Wish the double sided tape parts were a different style because it makes the gate hard to remove and reinstall elsewhere when needed

But a warning to other purchasers one extender takes the gate to 38in wide and the other starts at 39in wide

Going to have to add a piece of wood to force the small size to work

At this height it is harder for him to reach unless he brings over a chair

But even so you have to move the little slider latch and then lift up the door which is somewhat easy to do but certainly much more than simply moving a latch

Despite my toddler using her complete strength to open the gate it wont move

However due to the extensive pulling by my toddler the tension on the door does loosen up but just be aware of it and retighten it like once a month

The bars are not close enough together
