Easy instructions and with little mechanical or carpentry skills. It is also easy to set for rh or lh doors. Overall, it serves the intended purpose while blending with the character of our old home.
Lock matches the aesthetics of the old 100 year old yale lock it replaced. These locks were used to replace old skeleton key door locks in our farmhouse. The lock cylinder aligned with the yale night latch.
Cons
Very poor craftmanship. Description is deceiving. The keys do not go in smoothly, you have to jiggle them to get them to go in.

The cylinder seems to be a bit narrower than kwikset so i had to improvise so the springs and shear pins would not fly out with the removal of the tumbler
