Pros & Cons

Pros

This is the perfect tool for a beginner and someone who is not that strong. Keep an open mind, be gentle, and work towards perfecting your craft.

I'm flabbergasted. That is 100% what i expect of a japanese saw. It’s a good saw. I'm a japanese.

Clean cuts, even on particleboard. Need to shave off a bit from a cut but a plane wouldn't be practical? The flexibility allows for flush cuts at funny angles if needed.

Cons

The blade bends and bends and bent and snaps off the handle. I have a harbor freight saw that hasn't bent and is well made compared to this, how embarrassing. There a far better saws out there.

The snagging is without a doubt the worst part. It causes them to snag and pull very frequently. It gets really bad chatter too, likely on account of the teeth wanting to continuously snag.

The longer tooth side of this saw is too coarse for sawing soft wood. It requires much slower action to start and much finer control. The cuts are sloppy, too.
