I must have missed in the writeup that this pump is not tested for placement in a swimming pool

The first one was so noisy from vibration that i could hear it downstairs in the garage

The pump never failed but vibration which transmitter thru the metal fountain down the steel legs and into the floor was totally unacceptable

One reason i got it was that it could be run dry thats not mentioned on the box
