It takes either 3v lithium battery or aa battery. Battery life works well for 2 aaa batteries.
Cons
The plug for the remote pressure switch is a male threaded adapter, which will not work with the (also male threaded) flashlight tube. Do not buy this one it is 100% counterfeit.
Turning it on is finicky and very flaky. The only function is on/off-high,none of the others work.

I bought this mainly for backpacking excursions due to the battery life expectations notably with the lowbeam
Flashlight is streamlight quality i did have to tap the switch connection to the flashlight a few times initially but works good so far
Im not sure when i lost the first screw so i dont know if it was a fault on the product or me
This light with the cr123a puts out 500 lumens which is a lot of light for this little flashlight

For the size and the price its a bargain

And the best part is it can use a cr123 battery or aa
I uses one cr123 battery and is as bright as the macrostream in my opinion

The one thing i recommend is ditching the mount and get a offset scout mount

If you use nonlithium batteries the light will build up internal pressure and blow the cap off

The first time my cap came off it popped like a firecracker i had no idea what it was and then checked the flashlight and yup the button cover was missing

The light is not nearly as bright but i wouldnt expect it to be

I do recommend the cloud defensive pressure switch mount because the 2 sided tape and zip ties obviously wouldn’t last in the long run
