Perhaps i am unique one who is that voracious reader we are admonished to be if we are to be successful read published authors but who reads the wrong novels

Nevertheless the are pearls are there and to avoid most of the shucking i would suggest that one immediately refer to the end of each chapter and read the highlights and as deemed helpful perform the exercises” referring to the text only if one needs elaboration

I did not appreciate the multiple typos and formatting errors it makes me wonder how much time and effort was actually spent on the book

After reading through this guide on writing i do not feel that i learned very much it is well written and though the author has a sense of humor and it is peppered throughout the book it is not distracting from the point this is good to have for beginning writers but once you know the way to create your plot then this will only collect dust on the shelf milage may vary
