Now two years later its still in great condition and i use it for things like grinding up roasted nuts into a butter making dressings grinding toasted whole spices and just using it instead of a food processor whenever i feel like it bc imo its more fun watching stuff get ground using only the power of my armsthe only negative thing about this mortar and pestle is that when i first opened it and took a look there were two small chips in the bottom of the mortar

I stuck a black rubber drawer protector on the bottom of it so it wouldnt scratch my granite counters

I also have trouble finding a nice place to store this in my kitchen because it gets a bit heavy to take out every time i need it while also being too large to keep lying around
