Pros & Cons
Pros
This coffee pot is just a scaled up version of that pot and should last forever. We use a jet boil to quickly boil water and the water amounts match perfect.
It's inexpensive (not cheap), durable, and does everything we want. The container is very sturdy.
Cons
The area circled is a crack in the inner wall. There is cracks on the inside of the spout that let's water inside the carafe.
My suggestion is to try another brand. This sterling pro french press is the most expensive on amazon at $59, and is by far the worst of all.
After about 2 months of once a week use the knob on the top of press shaft came off. Shake and water sloshes inside the unit with no way to get it out.
This is rubbish. Really defeats the whole purpose of dual wall. This completely undermines the entire point of the double-wall stainless steel design.

Quality
Pleasantly surprised by the quality ease of use and the flavor of the coffee from this coffee maker

Price
The features sounded great the price was reasonable the reviews were glowing
At that price i highly recommend it
I was able to purchase it when the price dropped down to 19
Packaging/appearance
I admit that i like watching the tea leaves in the bodum glass french press and being able to see how much is left would be nice
Competitiveness
Anyway im pretty happy with this purchase and i think it will last much longer than a bodum
It seems to be wellmade and since it is metal it retains heat better than the bodum glass french press
The stainless 1 ltr french press is infinitely better than the glass bodum type
I am still using the same brand of coffee … and wmy new sterlingpro fp it tastes so much better

With a coffee machine you often end up filtering out all the grounds and some of the oils from the ground beans

Plus coffee machines make it a bigger mess if it is not programmed properly or set up in the perfect way for it to have the water pass through all the grounds with the hope of having some somewhat decent coffee
