The windows are supposed to act as semibed rails but our 10 inch high standard mattress which doesnt even have a pillow top comes almost to the top of the windows

Unlike the lightening mcqueen bed you cannot just not install the support frame in this bed and have the mattress sit on the floor so that the inside walls act as railsbarrier
