Addressing some of the complaints the controls are not difficult and they explain thorughly how to use them and there is a 28 gb update so yes you will need internet the free version of xb live is sufficient to get that and despite ubisofts answer saying there is a code inside the case for the winter games expansion its on the disc even though the discs label doesnt say its the winter games edition
