Pros

This one is very sturdy. Lexus has few issues, but the durability of there keys is one of them. Very sturdy and durable.

Key and internals fit with provided shims. Only negative is the shell does not have labels for the lock/unlock *.

Stauber is a reputable locksmith. This key is a fraction of the cost of what i would have paid for at the dealership. I expect this to be the last shell i'll need to buy for my car key. Lexi is an is300 that i’ve had for 8 years.

This fob has 4 screws. It takes a little coordination and a pair of pliers holding the driver, to rotate and tighten the screws. Hold the screw and screwdriver stationary, rotate the key assembly underneath it.

Cons

My key housing is cracked but the screw is still embedded to a piece of the housing, so now i have to find something (perhaps an eyeglass screw kit) to get that screw out.
