We are very impressed with this little Stauber Best Bulb Changer Kit. We have really high 24 ft ceilings in our entry way and up our stairs and the bulbs were burned out and making it difficult to descend the stairs safely. Getting on a ladder that high over a curved staircase with a full length banister is very tricky and we were unsure what to do until we stumbled upon this on Amazon. The suctions cups are thick and of good quality. The thumb screw is a good quality and has a nut inside to keep from stripping it out like the other plastic competitors. This is a great solution to that problem. Other suction cups are thin and barely survive long enough to change the next light bulb without warping so bad that adhesion is not possible. This is a nice thick suction cup. I love that it is not a screw on type attachment to the pole just because 24 ft poles are very expensive (getting up there to buying a ladder type price) and so a long piece of pvc pipe worked just fine as does a few broom handles gorilla taped together. This adds versatility and you can be creative with what you have without needing something threaded. As far as the sizes go, I really just needed 1 size. I don't have standard light bulbs in anything except lamps in my house so I just needed one to change out the heavy LED canister bulbs with the huge bell like base. I couldn't decide from the reviews if the Large or XLarge was the right one. Definitely use the extra large! At 24 ft high those bulbs are heavy and it did a beautiful job. Since it was the same price for all 3 as it was to buy the Lg and XL separately, I went with all 3. I am unsure if these will adhere to the textured outdoor halogen lights very well. My outdoor halogens look textured but are really smooth and it worked well. The suction is superb so I wouldn't be afraid to try the textured ones if they were not really really high but I personally have not tried it yet to tell if it works (one reviewer said no). I read one review where someone said that the little red one worked for standard shaped light bulbs and I tested this and it seems to be the correct one for this size and the green one was too big. I tried the middle sized green one on a standard type (not LED-so it was lighter) bell shaped halogen indoor bulb and it seemed to adhere well and you could probably get away with it, I just felt more comfortable with the heavy outdoor halogens and LED bulbs at 24 foot high to go with the XL suction cup because it covered a larger area of the bulb. Over all this product exceeded my expectations and I expect it to last through many lightbulb changes thus reducing my stress over changing those very high light bulbs. I also felt that the price was a good value for the product. It is not a one and done type product and seems like I can use it many times. I like that it is not just disposable cheap junk so I feel that it was worth spending 25$ on this product.  Read Less
