Pros

The suction cups are awesome. They hold very firmly. The extra sticky pads are good, but there should be more of them or of a reusable design. The de-suctioning string gentle deforms the suction cup briefly.

Cons

Doesn't work at all with the suction. The cups are not threaded and the wingnut hold it on to any pole is flimsy.

The thumb screw is a good quality and has a nut inside to keep from stripping it out like the other plastic competitors

I have very high ceilings in my living room so i used a vey tall extension pole to take down the large br40 bulbs

Worked like a champion after two other brands did not work to take out a br40 flood light
