The advice given is always to call the vet and induce vomiting as quickly as possible for most items some things you do not want to induce vomiting for and those are actually listed on the insert that comes with this product

It is a large syringe that is clearly marked on its side with numbers to correspond to the weight of your dog

If your dog weighs more than 60 pounds you could fill the syringe again to get to the proper amount for your dogs weight with little extra effort

I do need to note that the plunger part of my syringe has numbers marked on it that i found confusing and that did not correspond with the dog weights as listed on the actual syringe

So if you get a stat syringe that has numbers on the plunger part ignore them

Although i never wanted to actually use this item when i had to force my dog to throw up the process wasnt too bad
