Cons

Quality poor especially the gear that is supposed to mesh with the flywheel. Metal in the gear is too soft and stripped out after about 6 or 7 starts. Tecumseh is no longer in business. Check with a dealer.

Slapped it on 8 hp tecumseh snow blower started right up

Liked the price compared to the original part and worked fine upon installation

Works great and was real reasonably priced

Good value considering oem was quoted to me at 289
