The quality is superb, so i am unsure why others rated this so low. The only complaint is that the cord is very, very short and the computer has to been very close to the tv. The display quality is also superb.

One-trick accessory that does exactly what it says it does. It works seamlessly. I know it's not supposed to mater for usb-c but that is what worked for me.

Competitiveness
I am always happy with startech products and this usbc to hdmi dongle is no exception
Its also got a 2year warranty which i feel is just a bonus most of the time i just buy a dongle and jettison it when and if it malfunctions
Well at least theyve saved a small portion of it
Its only a 4k 30hz adapter so i wouldnt want to use it with anything 4k

I took a dive in to trying the razer phone 1 not the razer phone 2 got a razer phone 1 for cheap and decided would try to make it work with one usbc port
