This product really is a waste of money. Very disappointing. Very inconvenient.
To bypass the photosensor unplug the black connector from the main circuit board.
This is not the same as the one you see on tv and that is currently in stores. Rows of dots explode out and then gather back in to the exact same rows. Stay clear from this item and vendor.
In the snow or rain, the product is worthless. The moment the first snow hits, the device is buried. They're full of water after 1 rainstorm.
The green laser is very weak and the scatter pattern is very poor. The red laser shows up decently but you can not run it alone. Green is illuminated but not projecting.

What i dont like about this light and i had a previous one that works the same way is that every night when the rest of my holiday lights turn on i have to go outside and its cold in michigan to specifically turn on the startastic lights

Btw i tried the light with a direct connection to electricity because it is supposed to have a light sensor and turn on and off on its own and this did not work either
