Pros & Cons

Pros

Maxxis minion dhr ii rear, exo+ casing. Easy peasy…. Holy smokes, they work great! Worth every penny. Fantastic design, ridiculously easy to use.

Used 2 darts to completely seal hole and finished the ride with no issues. They say it essentially reacts w/ sealant to create a permanent repair. It is easily and seals in a matter of seconds, yes seconds.

Cons

The pictures fraudulently misrepresent the actual product. Will never buy again. C’mon stans, fix your product.

Stan's needs to build a better mousetrap. Looks like stan redesigned the head by eliminating the spurs. Could potentially work for big cuts, could be mtb but not road. I hope stan returns to their original design because the new design is a failure.

Recently tore a side knob loose on my rear maxxis recon tire 29 x 2

After inserting the stans dartplug it took a few spins of the tire adding a few psi then spinning the tire again several more times but the stans dart plugged the tear as claimed with minimal sealant loss

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

When i got home i let the dartplug and tire set so that the sealant pooled in the bottom of the tire on top of the tear and the next morning there was a small amount of sealant that had leaked out but the tire was fine to ride on that same day with no more leaks or tire pressure loss
