Once i used some force and bent the brackets closer to a 90 degree angle the shelf became quite sturdy
I am always weary about buying items that have not been reviewed by many people however this shelf was the only one i saw that fit my needs to add vertical storage on the top shelf of my closet
The brackets designed to keep the legs in place are bent inward which allows for the package to be shipped flattened
