Would have preferred a 27x1 18th instead but there were none for the same priceso ill change it out eventually

It also isnt made entirely of steel the hub and the rim are alloy

As well the meeting point of the rim the seam is slightly raised on one side by maybe a quarter of a mm

The braking is excellent even in wet assuming youve got good brake pads and the popping sound has entirely disappeared with use
