As you can see in one of the attached photos the case gives the camera 4mm space in all four sides

In my head and it may only make sense to me that space will greatly reduce the amount of force the camera will absorb if and when you drop the camera

The only disappointment i have is that the open skeleton back cover that came with my camera is too small to fit this case

But i ended up using the camera almost exclusively without any protective case
