Edges are aluminum but flat panels are not probably not a bad thing since aluminum would dent more easily

The top waffle foam insert is too shallow to provide any support and its glued in so i cant easily replace it

The only reason ill give it 4 and not 5 stars is that the latches and hinges seem a little weak and cheap

Im sure the interior construction is actually some form of plywood with an aluminum face just like all cases anywhere near this price range but the only way you could tell is if you cut it open
