    I've seen them land on the wire cage (not the perches) and look at the seed but they've yet to figure out how to get to it.

    This speaks volumes because we have major issues with squirrels, just last week we had two squirrels completely rip open packages and drag items all around the lawn, while the bird feeder goes untouched by squirrels.
