Pros

My 10th or 15th spyderco folder. I love the blade. Amazon and onkata have flexible returns.

This knife is a fantastic slicer. It instills pride of ownership like few other knives can. Clip holds knife securely in my pocket.

Cons

The thumb unlock spring is too strong, and, 25% into closing there knife there is a significant stop. The blade shape is really unattractive, and the hole instead of a thumb stud is very difficult to use.

The disappointment in spyderco is so great that i'll go out of my way to discourage friends from considering them. Spyderco has to make a killing on profit margins to be making a knife with what seems like cheap material and selling for a premium. A n... Read More

The delica (i have one) is the really odd. It is unimpressive. Not great. Thats truly preposterous for what you're getting.

Perhaps this is a 'one off' that slipped through qc. Had to reach for a $10 gerber. I love the bright orange color, but this is going back to amazon.

The clip is ridiculous. Too loose to snug this knife to any pocket or backpack. Found the knife in the bottoming my pocket- instead of lost somewhere - with the clip broke off.

If they are fake there is literally no way to tell without destructively testing the steel

It gets hungup on items you walk past and ultimately fails and brakes

The only thing i could afford was a barlow or case knife

If you can afford to pay for this knife i promise you youre not going to be sorry

It was 20 bucks off when i ordered it so look out for that if you want a better deal

Competitiveness

Spyderco’s lightweight selections are excellent and the delica is at the top

This knife may seem expensive to some people but compared to a benchmade it is nothing

I’m comparing it to the native who’s design i slightly prefer

At the end of the day i’ve got bigger more expensive and heavier knives but i don’t have one that i like any better than the delica
