Pros

A quality piece if cutlery overall. It has a very sharp blade right out of the box. For the most part the pricing is perfect for what you get.

The dragonfly feels like it's a'real' spyderco. It's light as a feather so i only remember i have it on me when i need it. The dragonfly is just a brilliant design.

The vg10 steel sharpens easily and holds an edge fairly well. It holds its sharpness very well doing these tasks.

I love the pocket clip, its discrete and holds the knife secure. It does not get tangled at your pocket, and you can also reach to it effortlessly. Side clip holds knifesecurely on jean pocket.

Double jimping gives you a much closer, easily manipulable hold. At about an ounce, this knife completely melts in your pocket. It's easy to open and close with one hand and tucks well into the coin pocket of my jeans.

Cons

There is no conceivable way, even at the quantum level, that justifies an additional $64 for 0. What a rip off. Save yourself $20.

The blade is thin and regardless of the steel, which is questionable. There is no weight to the blade so deployment is slow.

It is counterfeit. The blade is engraved when it should be stamped. The label on the box is not what a real spyderco box should look like. This one is acid-etched.

In summary, if you're a name * (who isn't? Whoever said this is a great knife is a liar. There wasn't. The fact that i am at all disappointed is *extremely* disappointing.

It's a horrible disease that will ravage not only your sanity, but every last dime of disposable income.

But quality is good spyderco does a good job

With the added finger choil i’m able to really get a hold of this thing and get some work out of it

Price

Price is a little high but it is a brand name and quality product and shouldlast many many years

The price is climbing on these models which is unfortunate

Without any hesitation spyderco offered to send me a replacement clip free of charge and they would pay shipping

Packaging/appearance

It has a very sharp blade right out of the box

I love the way this knife disappears into a shirt pocket or hangs on a clip out of the way

If you have larger hands you should check out the spyderco delica kinda like this knifes big bro

Competitiveness

I have a few spyderco knives and they are high quality

The vg10 steel seems to be holding up great so far

I know guys that carried spyderco products at work for 20 years and never sharpened or had to have them repaired

I also have a benchmade mini bugout which i like but i find myself reaching for the dragonfly 2 most days
