I have several byrd knives they are all excellent quality
With all said the knife sharpens easily and was a much higher quality than other knives in this price range
I am otherwise very happy with my purchase and as always dealing with amazon
I dont like using the word cheap unless its of cheap quality

The only thing that worries me is the blade thickness its a very thin blade and the steel is not especially rigid

Given that its an inexpensive knife and im not going to be using it for any heavy tasks i went what the hell and reprofiled the edge to 14
