Competitiveness

This is a high-quality knife that i'll be passing on to my son.

Positive Review

Spyderco took the essential attributes that people want in a bushcraft knife and put them together in a seemless well designed knife.

Positive Review

The sheath is well made and functional, but i went ahead and found a custom sheath that had a firesteel loop on it anyway.

If you didnt know it was g-10 you might guess it was wood.

There is a plastic piece that fits the blade in the bottom of the sheath.

There are also two rivets on the loop side of the sheath that are exposed on the inside as well, they will damage the finish on your handle.

This knife is outstanding it has great edge retension the g 10 handle is very comfortable the only place this fine piece of cuttlery is lacking is the sheath what a shame to place such a well made knife that has the appearance of being hand crafted in such a lousy sheath.

Turned it over and shook it as hard as i could and it still wouldn't dislodge from the sheath.

The only two complaints i have are that getting the knife out of the sheath with gloves would be a bit difficult without some practice, and that there is a plastic blade guard that makes it rattle just a bit when it gets well jarred.

But if they prove to be true i may have to drop a star i just hope i'm wrong.

To the point that if you were to put your nose to the blade you'd actually smell the carbon.
