It had not been dropped or mistreated and in fact this one of the two i bought arrived with a crack in the clear part of the lid so i can only assume it was damaged in shipping
Glad i bought 2 because the rubber gasket in the straw hole came out and mysteriously disappeared on one and the other one fell two feet out of a cabinet and broke at the hinge
Great for use with straws leak proof seal
