Very flavorful and not spicy. We're totally hooked on this rub.
The flavor and scent are right on pointe. Hints of chocolatey expresso with over all smokey finish of chile. Perfect for those cookies/cakes/hot cocoas that might benefit from just a sparkle of sweet heat--to die for in homemade brownie bark!

Not very tasty overall. It was delivered to me broken with all the spices mixed with glass inside the bubble wrap.

I have tried to make my own steak rub but nothing comes close i have tried most of the dry rubs at the grocery and again nothing comes close to cowboy crust

I asked what they thought they stated that it would be pretty good on most anything too weak for chicken but not overpowering for the other meats

Was looking for something new since webber discontinued their coffee rub and this might be better with the extra heat
