It holds a couple of pencils, eraser, a bunch of cotton swabs for blending, a pencil sharpener and a pocket knife with room for more. It protects the tips from being broken. It's compact and light-weight.

The zipper is quality and zips quite easily around the entire case. I love the snap the zipper closes on. Love the security button for the zipper handles.
