This spoon rest fits perfectly in our black, grey, stainless steal, and cream kitchen color scheme, and goes nicely on the counter alongside other things made from stainless steal rod. The construction is very sturdy as one would expect, and the drip dish rests comfortably in position.I deducted a point because the handle rest is oriented less optimally than it could be, with its curve normal to the plane of the counter. If it were parallel, it would do a better job of capturing a tall ladle or spoon.Aside from that minor defect, this is a nicely functional object and it gets used pretty much every time we are cooking.  Read Less
