Pros
They are easy to install and something has been eating on them (i installed them months ago) they reproduce drones with one purpose, to feed their queen. These are the colonies that, most importantly, need to be controlled and killed.

Cons
Build-up of moisture causes it to pop for no reason. Also, if a lawnmower wheel rolls over them they break the top portion off. Mine are eastern subterranean termites - i know there are different species.
