Pros & Cons
Pros
Matt abrahams is a student of the fear of public speaking. Don't be fooled by its small size; the book packs in every imaginable technique for dealing with fear.
Matt abrahams gives tips on how to overcome procrastination and perfectionism in writing a speech. Matt's oxytocin exercises are especially valuable for reducing nerves and becoming energized.
The book is short, easy to read not dull), and offers practice exercises after each chapter. This is a book i don't regret buying. It's a perfect guidebook that you can reference over and over.
Matt abrahams' book explains physiologically and psychologically why that happens and how to manage it. Seeing anxious arousal as excitement is a relatively easy way to trick yourself into avoiding the negative effects of your speaking anxiety.
