The cables included are very short which required placing the switch in a less than ideal location but the included external ir receiver somewhat makes up for that by allowing you to still get remote control of the device

Does the job but the ir sensor has a hard time picking up the remote signal

The remote makes it very easy to manage the cables as they can be tucked away and only the remote sensor is exposed
