I picked up one of the Paco Ardit A1 novels when I was just starting and I remember how very hard it was getting through the 3-4 sentence chapters at first, and how very proud I was of myself when I finished it, and then I got one at the next level.These have been pacing really well with my learning, at times a bit of a challenge but not so difficult as to make me give up. The stories are hardly great works of art but they're sufficiently interesting and have a cute sense of humor to them, way better than anything else I've found. Teachers often have me reading articles about economics or whatever.I've been reading these with the kindle app on my (android) phone rather than my kindle. I do this because I have my google translate app set up so that if I copy something it will pop up a small translation window. In the app I highlight words I don't/didn't know at all in yellow and phrases where I know the words but don't really understand how the sentence works or what it means in blue. This way I can ask a teacher about it later.   Read Less
