Pros & Cons
Pros
This far surpasses anything i've seen in a driveway, or in an outdoor tournament. The glass backboard rebounds the balls like a pro. The hoop is great and almost as solid and stable as an in ground hoop.
The tempered glass is awesome and the unit is very heavy, well made, durable, and stable. Just massive compared to the other units seen in the neighborhood. It is a very solid and satisfying thump sound instead of the vibrating twang sound.
The unit is delivered w/in (3) boxes on a wooden pallet. Assembly is time consuming but really pretty easy and straight forward.
The main pole comes in two pieces and is joined by fitting one inside the * of the other, and impacting them on a scrap piece of wood. Use the cardboard box on the ladder to prevent scratching of the glass.
If its get a little sticky i just spray a little wd-40 and off it goes. You need to be a bit of a handy man or have a friend who is.
Cons
I understand things happen but they conveyed a nonchalant attitude as i explained the situation. It always amazes me how poorly designed these products can be. This lack of responsiveness and cancellation of orders reflects poorly on spalding.
Backboard quite a bit forward - real noticeable - very poor workmanship. When completely assembled, it rolls and does not lock. If the grey tank has that the front will split.

If you are a wrestling fan and familiar with the pile driver then you will do fine
Packaging/appearance
In researching warehouse deals most seemed to just have packaging damage and were actually brand new
Competitiveness
I have a friend that has a goalrilla inground system and that one doesn’t shake pretty much at all
I do some deadlifting as a hobby and it definitely helped lifting the pole
I have a neighbor that has a silverback inground system with a four inch pole
I researched for months and i was unsure if i wanted an inground system because i hate the look of portable systems
