I like the color and the twist to lock feature because the pole may be captured in the video and making a homemade one would look terrible

My only concern is that i could see the mount area where you attach the gopro breaking off after repeated twist and locks

First of all its so light and collapses to such a small foot print

Now after shooting an extended pole shot you decide oh i need to change the orientation of the camera real quick for my next shot

If it was way out there say 42 44 48 and so on youd have to either collapse the pole some to reach the camera or turn it upright put the handle on the ground so you have access to the camera etc

The gopole has a screw in lanyard the problem is that the metal ring on metal mount will clang and hurt the gopros audio

I had to replace the ring with a piece of small rope but they should have thought about that design issue before releasing it
