The quality of these soy beans are better than others i’ve tried.
Highest quality black soybeans i have ever used.
I boiled 2 cups of dry beans in a pot of water on the stove for 5 minutes, then let them soak with the lid on for 2 hours.
Just be sure to use a little salt in the soaking solution in order to ensure prime quality of the skins.
Price
We use to buy eden's canned black soy beans but the price keeps going up so we switched to dries black soy beans.

They have delicate skins and the insides are white.

I bought the canned ones first but out of 12 can, 11 came dented.

The first was for my son who is (i dunno, maybe) waiting for a cosmic command to crank out a batch of tempeh (which he claims to pine for daily), because his beans are still languishing all glamorous-like in the pantry while i'm sitting over here in the corner with my jacked-up yogurt maker, turning out natto like there's no tomorrow.

They take forever to get tender.

Otherwise you will notice a slight grainy texture.

If you don't pressure cook them, there will be a very grainy texture.

Plus this is way cheaper than buying canned beans, which as you would guess, are very grainy.
